Supply Chain Innovation, Technology, and Infrastructure - Research

Research

Supply Chain Innovation, Technology, and Infrastructure (SCITI) is dedicated to producing actionable research with real-world relevance. We collaborate with other research centers and labs within to identify emerging challenges and opportunities directly affecting communities.

SCITI prioritizes research that improves supply chain infrastructure and optimizes the use of risk management technology. We disseminate our findings and solutions to businesses, governments, and community stakeholders.

AI for Food Collective

Agriculture anchors society and the global economy. SCITI's AI for Food Collective initiative strives to create AI-powered solutions for improving food security. Our research investigates how to apply artificial intelligence in farms, food supply chains, and food systems. We seek to support people, businesses, and the environment by helping communities across the nation engage with data centers, especially in rural regions.

As part of the AI for Food Collective, SCITI will host interactive workshops for researchers and stakeholders from multiple universities and sectors to discuss the intersection of AI infrastructure, agriculture, food systems, energy, water, and rural communities.

Collaboration with research labs and centers

SCITI serves as a hub for research collaboration across the NASPO Department of Supply Chain Management within ASU's W. P. Carey School of Business. We support research conducted by existing and upcoming centers, labs, and initiatives focused on supply chain innovation, technology, and infrastructure. Together, we continue to advance research for the world's most pressing supply chain challenges.

SCITI is a signature research initiative powered by the NASPO Department of Supply Chain Management at ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business.
